Born in the Morning is one of the children attending the New Rho refuge school. He is a member of Hot Sauce's gang along with Honesty, Beautiful Ruby , Kevin, and Nona.

Not much is know about Born in the Morning's early life. He was most likely born on a planet under contract with the Nine Houses and then subsequently resettled to New Rho with his family.

There are no concrete descriptions of Born in the Morning's appearance. Based on the ages of the other children in Hot Sauce's gang he is likely somewhere between 10 and 12 years old.
Personality[]
Born in the Morning is energetic and outspoken. He is often the one to call out Honesty in his many lies and exaggerations. He has an affinity for cats; he enjoys drawing them and is particularly interested in the big cats that live in the desert surrounding the city.

Beautiful Ruby[]
Out of everyone in Hot Sauce's gang Born in the Morning seems to closest to Beautiful Ruby. They can usually be found together and often get into violent but ultimately friendly scuffles.
The Gang[]
Born in the Morning is the second lowest ranked member of the gang outranking only Kevin. Nona identifies him as the gang's negotiator.
Family[]
Born in the Morning's family consists of him and his five fathers: Eldest Father, Second-Eldest Father, Brother Father, Younger Brother Father, and New Father. [1] At least one of his fathers is active in a anti-House resistance group supported by Blood of Eden.[2] When Ianthe Naberius arrives on New Rho to reinstate House control over the planet all of Born in the Morning's fathers join Blood of Eden to aid the resistance against the Nine Houses.
